After her unique recording collaboration around Schubert's lieder cycle "Winter Journey / Winterreise", Judit Neddermann and the Brossa Quartet propose a summer review of the same sensitive theme: love.
In this new format of concert, the cold despair received by a desperate lover who explains the pieces of Schubert contrasts with versions of pop-rock songs that speak and celebrate love in a more festive and accomplice of feelings.
As two sides of the same coin, the songs of dislike 200 years ago will live in wonderful harmony with the most recent love songs of creation, putting in question the borders between music and aesthetics.
This both thematic and stylistic contrast will highlight the valuable voice of the now well-known Maresmen's singer Judit Neddermann and will highlight again the strength and versatility of the already frayed Quartet Brossa. And perhaps we will also confirm that Summer Loves do not always end up in dismay when the heat loosens, but also, like good music, can transcend time independently of the time when it was conceived.
The repertoire includes selection of Schubert Winter Journey pieces and great pop-rock songs from the last 50 years that deal with the subject of love.
