MUSEE PAUL DUPUY
Amateur of the early twentieth century art, Paul Dupuy (1867-1944) had in 1905 acquired and restored the old hotel prosecutor in parliament Pierre Besson (XVII century), to provide an appropriate framework for its collections, to found a museum in his lifetime would bear his name.
Became a municipal museum in 1948, the Paul Dupuy museum after 1949 experienced a considerable development thanks to the action of its first curator, Robert Mesuret.
Enriched by the thematic distribution of municipal collections, it soon became the museum of decorative arts and graphic arts in the city of Toulouse.
