DORFMUSEUM-KONOLFINGEN

The former guesthouse "alter Bären", a half-timbered building and a study house from 1601, accommodates the village museum Konolfingen with its twelve exhibition rooms. The local collection includes many other agricultural, handicraft and domestic appliances, children's toys, kitchen and cheese making equipment, schnapps distillery, Dr. W. Schüpbach's pharmacy, picture documents about Konolfingen, music instruments, radios, and photographic cameras. The newly furnished room of the former EBT (now BLS) shows valuable models of early railroad history.
Every year a special exhibition on various topics enriches the Village Museum.
