After the success of Proofing ... We want to Speak, a new project on the "Teatro non Teatro" born by the mind of Sergio Rubini. Through the rewrite and the aid of a musician and singer, Sergio Rubini and Luigi Lo Cascio will take us on a journey between the chapters of one of the greatest novels ever written by reviving the epic novel by Russian writer Fëdor Dostoevskij.
The vertigo of being ended up in the obsession of a voice that identifies in the murder its own and only claim of existence. And then the crime as a mirror of its own limit and horizon necessary to overcome the self-affirmation of the self.
A conflict that creates a fever, a split, a splitting; a homicide that produces a punishment, a double-cut weapon. As is the writing of the novel, where reality, through the story in a third person, is constantly interrupted and attacked by the thinking voice, first, of the protagonist. And it is this bitonic nature of Delitto and Castigo that suggests the possibility of bringing him into the scene through a two-voice reading.
